When a blog participates in the rating system it is a form of self-regulation and is a pledge to adhere to the guidelines of the selected rating button. The Blog Rating System was designed to help create a safer and more enjoyable way to read blogs. It can prevent a reader from being offended by material they did not intend to view and can give parents a tool that enables them to monitor blogs their children are viewing.
If you feel you have viewed a page that was inappropriately rated, please contact us so that we may look into the problem and request that the blog author change their blogs rating. Adding a button from the Blog Rating System is something each author chooses to do and is in no way mandatory. If a blog displays a rating button from the system that author is agreeing to only post material that matches the chosen rating.

For a more detailed description of each rating, click on the buttons below to be brought to the associated rating page. Viewers to your site who click on your rating button will be directed to the description page for that rating. This allows your readers to understand what kind of material they can expect to find in your blog posts.
